94th RACS Annual Scientific Congress
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Annual Scientific Congress (ASC) 2026 marks the 94th iteration of this flagship event for the surgical profession. Taking place at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from Thursday 30 April to Sunday 3 May 2026, the Congress will centre on the theme The Art and Science of Collaboration.
The program will examine how collaboration across disciplines—between surgeons, scientists, researchers, industry, engineers, policymakers and patients—underpins progress in modern surgery. Topics will span clinical practice, research translation, emerging technologies such as robotics, and the human dimensions of communication and teamwork.
The Congress will feature plenary sessions, workshops and integrated learning opportunities designed to support professional development and continuing professional development (CPD) across all domains. Alongside the scientific program, the event will include ceremonial and networking opportunities, fostering connection, reflection and peer learning within the surgical community.
Hosted in Western Australia, the Congress also offers delegates the opportunity to experience Perth and the region’s natural and cultural attractions. Further program updates and registration details are available via the RACS ASC website.
