FHRI Connect Open Day
The Office of Medical Research and Innovation (OMRI) will host the FHRI Connect Open Day, bringing together members of Western Australia's health and medical research and innovation community.
The event will feature an address from the Minister for Medical Research, the Hon Stephen Dawson MLC, and the announcement of the next FHRI Fund Spotlight Program topic.
Spotlight Program announcement
The Spotlight Program is a major FHRI Fund initiative that supports collaboration between researchers, clinicians, consumers, health services, government and industry to address significant health challenges facing Western Australians.
Attendees will be among the first to hear the outcome of the consultation process used to identify the next Spotlight Program topic. The session will outline the factors that informed the selected priority area and explain how the program's $25 million investment will support research, collaboration and innovation in the chosen field.
FHRI Fund updates
The Open Day will also provide updates on FHRI Fund programs and initiatives, including information about upcoming opportunities aligned with the Fund's strategic priorities.
Participants will gain insight into current and future investment opportunities and learn how these programs support Western Australia's health and medical research and innovation sector.
