Call for applications for WA Child Research Fund 2024-25

The Department of Health in conjunction with the Channel 7 Telethon Trust is pleased to announce the WA Child Research Fund (WACRF) 2024-25 is now open for applications for research funding to be awarded in 2025.
The WACRF was established by the Department of Health and Channel 7 Telethon Trust to fund research aimed at improving health outcomes for children and adolescents in WA.
Funded research projects must directly address a problem that arises from an unmet health or medical need of significance to WA children and/or adolescents.
Research areas may include public health, health prevention and promotion, emerging health risks or rural, remote and Aboriginal health and may include basic, clinical, health service, or population health research.
Projects may be awarded up to $600,000 over three years. Application selection is merit based via an open, and competitive process.
