Murray St innovation hub edges closer to world-class collaboration in heart of Perth

Perth’s vision of a creating a world-class facility for medical research and innovation in Western Australia. is a step closer after an Indigenous business was awarded the $14 million contract to revamp the city’s former Electricity and Gas building in Murray Street.
The heritage listed building from 1890 will be transformed into a central space for collaboration, research, and development, bringing together innovators and researchers from across the WA medical sector to translate research and build companies.
By providing access to state-of-the-art facilities, the hub will serve as a launchpad for emerging talent in the health-tech sector. Researchers, clinicians, and innovators will have opportunities to engage with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, equipping them to contribute to advancements in healthcare delivery and innovation.
