Diabetes Research Western Australia 2026 Research Grant Applications open

Are you advancing research in diabetes? Diabetes Research Western Australiainvites applications for its 2026 research grant program, offering a $60,000 grant for a 12-month diabetes-related research project. This opportunity is open to individuals and project teams based in WA and welcomes proposals across all types of diabetes and populations.

Projects may explore causes and complications of diabetes, potential cures, self-management strategies, treatment and medication delivery systems, the psychological impact of living with diabetes, and innovations in data storage and analysis.

Research streams eligible for funding include basic/fundamental science and clinical/translational research.

Projects that have not received funding in the previous round or that involve collaboration with institutions or co-funding from other sources will be viewed favourably.

Applications close at 5:00 pm (AWST) on Friday 1 August 2025.
