The Australian Government has opened applications for the Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program (GO8110).

This competitive grant round supports research aligned with the National BBV and STI Strategies to improve policy, practice and health outcomes across Australia.

Projects funded under this program will help build the evidence base, reduce morbidity and stigma, and improve access to prevention and treatment for people living with, or at risk of, BBV and STI.

Applications close 10 February 2026 at 2:00 pm (ACT time).
